スティングのshape of my Heart（シェイプオブマイハート）。
映画「レオン」のエンディングに流れた。
スティングの曲の「静」が、映画の激しい「動」を客観視させ、クライマックスへ淡々と進む。
職場での昼休み、連日のように子守唄代わりに聴いていたら俄かに歌詞が知りたくなった。
ネットで検索していろいろ見たが、私の心象にしっくりこない。
それで初めて和訳を試みた。
ほとんどが盗作に近いが、結構好きなように表現を変えた。
Shapeは形を意味するが、Heart（心）に形はない。
心の形とは、「見えない我が道」を示すように思える。
誰もがその道を探し求め、最期まで歩き続ける…。
殺し屋のレオンは突然に、そしてようやくにしてその道を見つけた。
マチルダの依頼を受け、マチルダを守り抜くことに。
スティングの曲はしばらくは耳から離れそうもない。
